LO3 - Showing Conventions of the Genre

Circle One - both mine and the example magazine have pictures relating to the genre which is tennis, even though mine is of a building at Wimbledon and the example is of a player

Circle 2 - both magazines have a title saying contents which is a convention of tennis magazines and other magazines as all have this title within the magazine.

Circle 3 - Contents, both magazine have contents but differently to mine, the example magazine has a description of what is within each section of pages, and also features a featuring article whereas mine does not.

To improve - add page descriptions, featuring article.

Circle 1 - both magazines have large bold titles which attract their audience to purchasing the magazine

Circle 2 - with both mine and the example magazine, these both have puf's which are having small amounts of featuring information within them

Circle 3 - both magazines have large bold subtitles the are related to the background image.

Circle 4 - currently my magazine cover happens to have more pufs than the example but three is around average for this type of magazine

Circle 5 - both magazines have barcodes located at the bottom

Circle 1 - here we see in circle one both of the spreads are especially featuring the product in question, for example, the tennis racket

Circle 2 - both spreads have featuring articles about the pictures in question, whereas mine is about the rackets the example is about the player in the photograph

Circle 3 - both mine and the example have large feature images drawing attention the the image
